| may issue written warning or more severe sanctions if, in his/her opinion, the situation warrants it. All incidents of flagrant misconduct shall be kept on file in the DAD's office.
4. If the Commissioner cannot attend a game, he should designate a person who will serve in his place. Coaches should be notified of the appointment. B. MISBEHAVIOR OF SPECTATORS l. If the official is required to address any misconduct, the offender may be removed from the playing arena. 2. The Commissioner also may issue warnings and/or other sanctions as he/she deems necessary. The Commissioner must report all incidents of flagrant misconduct to the Diocesan Athletic Director as soon as possible. 3. Technically, the coach is responsible for the behavior of his fans/spectators. The official and/or the Commissioner may ask the coach to control the behavior of his teams' supporters. C. OFFICIAL'S AUTHORITY TO FORFEIT GAMES The official has the authority to use as a penalty the forfeiture of games as sanctions against flagrant misconduct of coaches and spectators. In the event that this occurs, the Commissioner will submit a written report to the Diocesan Athletic Council explaining the incident and his/her decision. |
