10. After the first 4 minutes of every quarter, the clock will stop.  Play will continue until the action stops.  The referee will  stop play and both teams must substitute 5 new players, if they have 5 or more  substitutes on the bench.  If the coach fails to substitute players, a bench technical shall be called.   This is not an official time-out.

With the exception of an injury and a player fouling out, there will be no substituting during the game except at the split of every quarter.  In the case of injury, the injured player may return during the time period.

If a team does not have 5 new players to substitute, then the opposing team will  not have to substitute 5 players.  Both teams will only be forced to substitute  equal number of players.  At the end of the quarter, the rotation is to start anew.  

If a player fouls out, any player on the bench may be substituted for that player.   The opposing coach will have the option of substituting any player on their bench  at that time as well.
All children on the bench must play in every game. In the case of injury, the  injured player cannot be replaced by a starter as long as there are other substitutes  available.

If a team has ten (10) or more players, a player may not play the first four minutes of a quarter and then play the second four minutes of the same quarter.  They may play “back to back” at the end of one quarter and the beginning of another quarter.

11. Each quarter will be eight minutes in length with a running clock that stops on  free throws, time-outs, injuries, and the last minute of the 4th quarter.

12. There will be no league standings kept, league trophies given, or tournaments  held.

13. Warm ups prior to game will be 6 minutes.

14. Uniforms with legal basketball numbers on the front and back are required.   The wearing of an illegal number will result in a technical foul.   Players may wear a tee shirt under their uniform top that is consistent with one of their two primary uniform colors; all players must have the exact same color tee shirts of the two primary school colors. (i.e. If the primary colors for the school are green and white, the players may select either green or white tee shirts.  All tee shirts worn by the players must be the same primary color.)

15. The distance from the free throw line to the basket will be 14 feet.

16. Nine (9) foot goals will be used.

17. The official ball will be a TSSAA Approved Women’s Basketball.

18. There will be no overtime games.  If the score is tied at the end of regulation play,  the game shall be declared tied.

19. No backcourt pressing will be allowed except during the last minute of the game.  The backcourt pressing rule will be strictly enforced.  On the third offense of each half, there will be a technical foul assessed to the offending team.  Technical fouls will be assessed on each subsequent offense. If a team is ahead by 20 or more points, they may not full court press during the  last minute of the game.

20. Schools with multiple teams in the same age/gender division will be allowed to  request a variance to allow tryouts prior to November 1st.

21. 
The wearing of jewelry, except medical alert items, is probited.  This includes pierced earrings(they cannot be covered with band-aids, etc).

22.  Players may wear a tee shirt under their unifprms thqat is consistent with on of their two primary colors.  All players must have the exact same color tee shirts.  (i.e.  if the primary colors for the school are green and white, the players may select either green or white tee shirts.)  All tee shirts worn by the players must be the same primary color.
